   Hi - this is the public area. The fact that so much is public is certainly the downside of this site and for that reason I shall be circumspect and not be a contributor to any great extent I fear. It's just I don't fancy the whole world pouring over every comment/observation I may make no matter how banal. But it's early days and I may gain confidence.

   The forum is maybe different as what you're used to, but it's not hard to get the hang of it all. Most is "What you see is what you get".
   When you have problems with something...just post it on the "tech" forum or send me or sjrapid a PM and we'll work it out.

   I'll try to get into it - I know that Facebook has totally defeated me & I only stay there from peer pressure but I throughly enjoyed Sporran Club & found one could chat on so many subjects - both trivial & serious - of course there were one or two jerks but they almost certainly thought the same about me !
   
   I have to admit that whilst I'm a social "butterfly" I have certain reservations on giving out too much info as you never do know who is going to see it & the world's a big place.
